How to combine PDF files

Merge PDF files in three steps, right here.

  1. Add the PDFs to merge

Drop your PDF files on the box or pick them from your device. Each card shows the first page and the page count.

  2. Put them in order

Drag a card by its handle, or focus the handle and use the arrow keys. A card's number is its place in the file.

  3. Merge and download

Keep or drop the first file's title and author, then press Merge. One combined PDF downloads to your device.

Combine multiple PDFs into one file

A contract with its annexes, a report with its appendix or a month of scanned receipts is easier to send, read and print as one PDF. Joining the files means the reader opens a single document and scrolls through it in the order you set.

Merging copies every page exactly as it is. Text stays selectable, images keep their full quality and each page keeps its size and orientation. Nothing is converted, flattened or redrawn along the way.

It works the same in any modern browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android or iPhone, so there is no app or Adobe Acrobat to install. Bookmarks and fillable form fields from the original files may not carry over.

What this PDF merger does well

  • Merge and reorder

Put the files in any order before merging. Drag the numbered cards, or move them with arrow keys.

  • Merge PDF with preview

First-page thumbnails and page counts help you spot a duplicate or an old version before you merge.

  • Nothing to install

Merge PDF files right in this tab on Windows, Mac or a phone. No upload, no app and no Acrobat.

  • PDF metadata, your call

Keep the first file's title, author, subject and keywords in the merged PDF, or leave them out.

  • Merge and compress

Turn on Compress PDF to pack the merged file's structure tighter. Pages and images look the same.

  • Free and unlimited

Combine PDF files for free as often as you like. No account, no daily cap, no logo on your pages.

Is it safe to merge PDFs online?

Yes. Your files never leave your device.

  • Processing

Your PDFs are joined by code running in this tab, in your device's memory. They never go online.

  • Storage

No copy is saved on our side or yours. Close or refresh the page and the added files are cleared.

  • Account

No sign-up and no email. Merge PDFs as often as you like; nothing about your files is tracked.
